Raymond L. Overby III
Pastor Overby grew up in Richmond Va and graduated from John Marshall High School. During his junior year of high school, he enlisted in the U.S Army. After graduating High School, and before he left for the military, he married the love of his life, his high school sweetheart Yolanda C. Wiggins. Who is now affectionately known as Lady Yolanda W. Overby. They have one beautiful daughter DeShonda D McRae.
After transferring and retiring from the U.S Air Force in 2001, pastor was led to extend his biblical studies. He enrolled in a Bible Institute in Virginia. He graduated in religions studies and Christian counseling.
Pastor Overby is dedicated and driven to make a difference. He is committed to impacting our GAC family and community while reaching our world for Jesus Christ. He is most passionate about teaching and equipping the people of God as they deepen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to spread the word that Jesus is Lord.
Yolanda Overby
First Lady Yolanda W. Overby is a native of Richmond Virginia. Affectionately known as Lady Overby or Lady O passionately served as the First Lady of the Greater Anointing Church, Inc. in Richmond, Virginia. She met her high school sweetheart, the love of her life Raymond L Overby III. They have been married for forty-five years with one beautiful daughter, DeShonda and a handsome son-in-love Vaughan. Lady O graduated high school from Varina High School, she studied at Utah State University, J. S. Reynold and VCU, earned her Business Administration in finance. She loves the word of God and has studied at VUU Bible institute where she earned her Christian education in biblical studies and Christian counseling. Lady O, loves to minister to the women of God, she has always had a passion for married couples, Lady and Pastor Overby started a marriage couples ministry in 2015.
Lady Yolanda loves to travel and during Pastor Overby military career gave them an opportunity to explore and live in Europe and the 50th states. She loves flower gardening and seeing things grow. She also enjoys the outdoors hiking, walking and just having fun.
Lady Overby loves to worship the Lord and provoke the presents of the Lord in the temple as she sings to the Glory of the Lord. We at the Greater Anointing Church are blessed to have such a wonderful Woman of God as our First Lady. She serves as a helpmate and prayer warrior to her husband and pastor. Her humble spirit is unique, and her spiritually encouraging words and her life’s accomplishments are an inspiration to us all.
